Ribbons wrapped around white candles are genius!
How lucky am I that I get off the hook from hosting Christmas dinner a second year in a row? Last year it was at Steve's mom's house and this year it's at my parents' house. That's not to say we won't be helping out, but it's just nice not to have the pressure of getting the house picture-perfect ready AND cooking a fabulous Christmas meal. Sorry Mom, I know it doesn't help that I just said that.
But I am actually kind of sad that I didn't have a good reason to create a tablescape. I mean, you don't have to have Christmas dinner to justify creating a tablescape, but when money is tight and your visions of a tablescape are bigger than your wallet, you tend to just not do it altogether. Which is what happened in my case.
For those of you who are lucky enough to set your table, I hope the images below will be somewhat inspiring if not helpful in getting your table ready. Oh, and check out last year's post on Christmas Tablescapes for more ideas!

I love it when gold is incorporated in a table setting.

Don't feel obligated to use red and green in your tablescape - other colors like fuchsia and pink are festive too!

Monique Lhuillier's table setting is just as dramatic and gorgeous as her wedding dress designs.

One of my favorite color combos - red and robin's egg blue.

Warm and inviting, the way it should be.

Perfect for a beach-y Christmas dinner.

As Rachel Zoe says, "I die."

Great features! Love the white peakock, gorgeous. I'd love to see tablescapes with Christmas dishes, they're the best! Happy Thanksgiving. FABBY
What a beautiful selection of tablescapes you've assembled in this post!
