Bulletin Board: Samantha Pynn

Saturday, February 26, 2011

I can't believe I haven't written a post in over a week! But I have a really good reason that's kept me from writing, which is that I got strep throat this week. Terrible, I know. And with all the work I have at my day job, unfortunately there was no relief. I had to work through it even though all I wanted to do was crawl into bed and sleep for a week. But through the magic of medicine, I've been able to recover somewhat quickly, although I think I've taken a step back since this morning. Reason being, my husband forgot to turn the heat back on last night (it was so nice during the day that he turned it off), so I woke up with some cold-like symptoms. He's since made up for it by being quite attentive.

Sorry, just went off on a tangent there. What I would rather share with you instead is this designer, Samantha Pynn. I can't remember how I came across her name (must've been during one of my many random Google searches), but I'm glad I did because she's got the knack for creating fresh, comfortable, and flirty interiors that I absolutely adore. So without further adieu, these were some of my favorites from her portfolio.

*Stay healthy and have a fabulous weekend!

  1. Feel better sweet girl. I too am a fan of Samantha Pynn and have used her image to illustrate certain points in my own blog post. I love the well edited rooms her symmetry and her great use of such pretty colors. I hope the rest of your weekend is restful, KS

  2. Thank you Kathysue!~ I'm definitely taking it easy today and drinking lots of tea :)

Yes, her rooms are extremely well edited and it's never filled with too much "stuff". And I love her use of unexpected patterns and colors. I especially love photo #7 (living room with the pink chairs) because of that fabric she uses on the ottomans. It's so whimsical and unique!

    I hope you have a great weekend!~
