{1, 2, 3, 4, & 5}
Hope everyone had a great weekend and is ready for this week! We had quite a packed weekend full of good food, friends, and family time. Even after my morning cup of coffee I'm ready to go back to bed because I'm still exhausted from all the fun we had. BUT I'm excited for what today will bring. Cora and I will be on the hunt for some flowers (faux and real) for the house. Faux, you say? Well, I live in Maryland where the only season for my favorite flowers (peonies) lasts about 2 weeks, tops. I know because I have a peony plant in my garden and they only bloom for that long. And well, I want to see some peonies in this house. Correction, I need to see some peonies in this house. I'm ready for Spring already! And maybe some ranunculus' if I can find those too. I know we'll find real tulips and some spider mums (a great buy, they last a long time and they've got big blooms) so we'll bring those home for sure.
While I'm out and about trying to find some gorgeous blooms for the house, I thought I'd share some dream items that I have in my computer's bookmark folder, which contains links to all the things I'm eye'ing. Maybe one day the hubby will look in there, take a hint, and 'surprise' me. I don't think he's figured it out yet though...
UPDATE: I will definitely have a follow-up post regarding the faux flowers :)
