Happy Monday! And what a happy Monday it is. I don't want to get too emotional on the blog today, but I don't see any way around it. Something happened this weekend where Steve and I almost lost one of our nearest and dearest friends. Thankfully, our friend is in stable condition at the hospital but it's really put things into perspective. I can't speak for Steve since I didn't experience what he did (I can only imagine what it must feel like to watch your best friend struggling for life), but I do know that it's made me realize even more how precious life is and how we should tell the people we care how much we love them - as much as we can.

So I wanted to dedicate today's post to my best friends. You know who you are, I love you girls. I always wanted sisters growing up, and now I have them! They have been there for me through all of my highs and lows. Have always given me honest advice and have never steered me wrong. They understand me inside and out and sometimes know me better than I know myself. When we get together, we have the best time. Like seriously. And I am so thankful to have them in my life. They're not only my sisters, but now aunts to my daughter and it makes me so happy to have them in her life too. She'll have independent, confident, fun-loving, fabulous women surrounding and setting an example for her.

I really try to tell them how much I love them when I can, but after this weekend I want to tell them all the time. I hope that this inspires you to tell your friends how much you love them!
