Happy Friday! I'm so glad this week is almost over. I say that every Friday, and I really do mean it every week. Lately it's been the case that each week gets filled up with appointments, gym classes (for Cora, not me), and lots of errands and chores in between. If I'm lucky (like I was last week and this week), I get to have lady dates and Happy Hours with friends to add excitement to my somewhat isolating job as a stay-at-home mom. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely looove being at home with my baby girl and cannot believe how blessed I am that I can be at home with her. But, it can get a little isolating in some ways. Talking to a one year old doesn't exactly help with your social skills, ya know? I'm sure you moms out there know what I'm talking about. Thank goodness Steve works from home or else I think I would be completely socially inept. I'm not kidding. There are times when I'll take Cora to Target or the grocery store and someone will start talking to her (and me) and when they ask questions, I swear I become totally awkward and say the most random things! But I'm getting way off track here. Let's get back to these lovely images, shall we?

It's easy for me to check out Pinterest while Cora's playing in her playpen and distracted from me, especially with the iPhone (what would I do without my iPhone??). And these are some of my absolute faves from this week's pinning activities.

#1: Totally is my dream dining room. The pale pink walls and a door leading out to a (most likely) stunning garden/patio of some sort. The lucite table, and those chairs! Yep, I'm in love.
#2: I'm usually not a fan of a simple gown like this one, but the embellishments at the top and the overall look of the model make me dream of wearing such a subtly glam gown, oh you know for the next major awards show I'll attend. Right??
#3: The perfect piece of art. Period.
#4: Such a traditional space with the hottest, most glam chairs you ever did see. And the carpet! The David Hicks Hexagon pattern is one of my fave patterns right now and as a carpet, it's stunning.
#5: I feel that even if you are a mom, you must never stop being chic -- or at least trying to be chic. Because when you stop trying, no one wins. Am I right? This mom right here is exactly what I hope to be. I want Cora to remember me putting lipstick on, taking the time to look polished, and heck, even wear a gown once in awhile.
#6: You had me at 'white peach'. I have yet to attempt making this seemingly perfect drink for Summer, but you can bet I will real soon.

Have a great weekend!!
