How was everyone's weekend?? Did you all catch up on your sleep from daylight savings? I actually did for once! And Cora seems to have adjusted well so far, so fingers crossed this streak continues. My last post was on Halloween and because I never got a chance to show you pics from the neighborhood Halloween party (our neighbors are so creative & fun!), I wanted to share with you a few photos from the event along with other weekend activities.

The only time we could get the hat part of her costume to stay on long enough to get a photo of her wearing it. It's all I wanted, to get a full body shot of her in costume. Apparently, that was like asking for world peace.

Our neighbors who host this event every year have a kids table set up with fun Halloween-related crafts and other fun toys for all of the kids to play with. They had some really fun activities for the kids and as you can see here, Cora was loving it all.

Someone is not happy about putting on her Sheriff uniform (costume). Both my girls were not having it with the costumes. I'm hoping that goes a bit better next year.

On Saturday, we met up with Steve's brother and his family to check out the annual Eastport Tug O' War. It's an event where there literally is a tug of war between the city of Annapolis and the Maritime Republic of Eastport. It was a really crowded event (as you can see), so we took the kiddos to Pussers Caribbean Grille instead to have some lunch.

Cousins hanging out in their cool rides. They may look as different as night and day, but they're both quite mischievous little girls. And cute too.

Sooo, we finally sold our dining chairs and replaced them with these new Ikea ones! We're both SO happy that we replaced them. We've been starting to feel like the dining room really needs a facelift, so we're taking small steps to make that happen since doing it all at once would literally kill our bank account. Next step is to repaint the walls. Not really digging the green walls anymore. I'll keep you all posted on our progress!
