Vivi's 100th Day Celebration

Happy Monday you guys! We had a wonderful weekend celebrating Vivi's 100th Day with our families. Unlike Cora's party, I kept it real low-key this time around because I didn't want to stress myself out with planning a big party with lots of guests. Yes, I'm starting to get a little lazy with the second child, I realize. But just because we kept the party to our immediate family doesn't mean that I wanted to slack on the decorating aspect of it. You know me, I can't help myself but get excited about decorating and planning!

I kept thinking of a theme for her party because having a theme really helps me plan things out, and I figured well we're right in the midst of Fall so why not have some sort of Fall theme going on? And that's what I ran with. I didn't go too crazy because I didn't want to spend too much money nor did I have time/energy (we all got a cold last week), so I just focused on a color scheme, food, and flowers. I started out with a black & white giant gingham fabric that I picked up from Joann Fabrics to use as a tablecloth. That's one of my cheats for table cloths if I can't find a proper table cloth in the right color/pattern. And then decided on white and green flowers to keep it clean and simple.

With the Fall theme, we decided to have chili with a chili bar for the toppings. And because we were celebrating a Korean tradition, we had to have mandu (Korean dumplings, Cora's favorite!), Bulgogi (Korean marinated beef), and kimchi (fermented cabbage). Not to forget about dessert, I made mini pecan pie tarts and a Funfetti dairy-free birthday cake. The pecan pie tarts were a major hit and I will definitely be making them again very soon. I can't say the same thing about the cake though, but at the very least I was told it was festive & pretty, so I'll take it! Check out the photos below and shop the look of the party!

Wearing the same dress Cora wore on her 100th Day celebration (similar one), along with a new headband that I absolutely adore.

She was so good about being held up like this so that we all could take pics of her in her han-bok.

Where Cora goes, Baa goes too.

The gorgeous han-bok that my parents brought me back from Korea this past summer. I wish you guys could see the detail of the embroidery, it's absolutely stunning.

Steve in his very first han-bok! Thank you to my parents for bringing back custom made han-boks for the both of us!

Sometimes, being the baby of the hour is hard work.
