I'm a sucker for ruffles. I freely admit it. I may not wear them all the time, but they're a sweet detail that often catches my eye. And on a sweater that's made out of 100% cotton? Well, let's just say I made a trip to Banana Republic just to get this sweater. During the winter, it's always hard for me to find sweaters with cute details that I can actually wear, because more often than not, they're made out of wool or some percentage of wool. And I just can't do wool. My skin and wool do not mix and so I have to pass up said cute sweaters. So when I was perusing Banana's newest arrivals and spotted this rare, ruffly cotton sweater, I was sold. It comes in a reddish orange color and a striped version too.

Because I believe that you can still wear white after Labor Day (whoever made that rule up was a boring, nonsensical person because white and winter go together so well!), I paired the ruffle sweater with my comfy Joe's Jeans Skinny Ankle Jeans and some neutral heels. The heels that I'm wearing were a Nordstrom Rack find by Sole Society but I am obsessed with these and these. And the cross-body bag/clutch was a Zara sale score ($16!!) but this bag or this one would be just as good if not better. You could easily wear this sweater with some distressed sexy girlfriend jeans and some pumps, or pants with some cute flats. Lots of options with this sweater, but scroll to see more of how I styled it.
