In my head, this is what I imagine an outfit would look like if you saw a very studious French student. Is that weird of me to think that? When I came up with this look the other day, it's what popped in my head and it's just kind of stuck. The classic combo of white, camel, & black are just that, classic and it's definitely something that I keep gravitating towards lately. As a mom to two little girls, I need articles of clothing that will make it easy to put something together in a flash since the mornings are always crazy around here.
With the addition of the lace-up, block heels, this look gets a bit modernized. Lace-up shoes/heels are definitely staying for another year and the block heel is another trend that's everywhere right now. I'm kind of glad they're on trend because it's so much easier to walk in than your typical heel. I feel more stable and I'm not worried that I'll trip myself because I'm looking at my phone instead of where I'm going. Anybody else do that? I did that one time when I was hugely pregnant and fell (so embarrassing but I caught myself with my hands), I definitely don't recommend doing that while pregnant though.
Anyways, I digress. I've already tried these heels out with jeans and they are just as elegant and fashion-forward as they are with this skirt. They would look so good with dresses too, I'm thinking a simple dress would look fabulous with these.
