One Sweater, Two Ways

The casual look.

You know when you find an article of clothing that you think is an absolute find and you just keep trying to find ways to wear it in different ways? Well, that's how I feel about this sweater ($25!!!) I found at H&M a few weeks ago. It comes in five other colors but this lilac, I thought, was so perfect to take me from the end of Winter and into Spring. The shape is great too, it's not tight but not so baggy that you're swimming in it. And with white jeans, it just has this lighter feel that I'm embracing right now. I mean, we are in the middle of February, I need all the lightness in my wardrobe as possible to combat this seasonal disorder I always get around this time of year.

While Caitlin and I were shooting this look, she had this great idea of how I should show how to wear this sweater & jeans combo two ways. One where it's a bit more casual, and the other being a bit more glammed up. I'm always a huge fan of seeing how others style one thing in different ways (so helpful, don't you think?) so I was like, yes let's do this!

I just switched out the shoes to some fun, neutral heels, and added a faux fur stole to top it all off. I seriously think if you add fun heels and a faux fur stole to any look, it'll instantly add that glam factor.

Thank you to my friend, Caitlin of The Mama Notes, for taking these pics!
