Dressed Up Caribbean Style

Thursday, July 06, 2017

If I was vacationing somewhere in the Caribbean, I would definitely be wearing this look out for dinner. When I spotted this tropical crop top a few weeks ago, it just spoke to me for some reason. Crop tops aren't exactly something I wear on a regular basis or even on an occasional basis, but for some reason, this one was just so fun that I had to give it a go. And at $17, it wasn't a big commitment if it didn't work out.

I am so glad I went a little out of my comfort zone for this top because it is so comfortable (the material is really soft), it's not tight at all, and hangs perfectly. And it's just so vibrant and fun! If you're worried at all about trying this out, just do what I did and pair it with a high waisted pant. You could also pair it with a high waisted skirt, just anything to give you more coverage if that's what you're worried about.

Steve actually liked this look a lot and has requested that I wear it on our next date night. So I'd say me getting out of my comfort zone was a win-win for the both of us!
