LOFT Stitched Sleeve Sweater / Old Navy Mid-Rise Jeans / Madewell Ainsley Chelsea Boot / Anthropologie Sunglasses

I'm a tad late with this post, my bad guys. I had this post almost ready to go last week but with the snow and the weekend, I just didn't have a chance to get to my computer to get this out.

Every year we spend two nights at Steve's dad's house after Christmas and this year was no exception. The girls always have a great time because they get to spend time with their cousins, who are also the same ages as them. It's been so fun to see them get closer and closer every year and play so well together.

Then on New Year's Day we headed to my parents' house to celebrate and participate in 세배 (Sae-Bae). It's a Korean tradition to wish your elders a happy new year filled with good fortune and it includes wearing traditional Korean clothing. The whole family wore their traditional outfits and we also made Korean mandu (dumplings) for the soup we were going to enjoy (another tradition). Scroll to see photos from that day.

I hope you all had a wonderful start to the new year! I know I'm motivated to share more with you this year, even if I'm a little late with posts ;)

Dr. Vivi is in the house.

Her gift from Granddaddy and Sulu was a bit hit.

The view from Steve's dad's deck looking into their side yard.

View of their backyard.

Should I make this next year's Christmas card??

Breakfast with everybody at this really fun diner on the day we left Granddaddy's house.

I dragged the family to the Leesburg Outlets after we left Steve's dad's house, but the girls didn't seem to mind. They managed to have fun in whatever store we went to.

Vivi got really into mandu making.

Cora also got really into it and impressed us all with her mandu making skills.
