I would make sure to find pieces that still have a lived-in quality but have cleaner, simpler lines. Maybe not as curvy or sparkly but still have the overall comfort that you would find in shabby chic items. Or you could have one shabby chic statement piece (i.e. sofa) and have modern accessories, say graphic throw pillows, that bring the modern elements into the space. Mix and match! I am all about the eclectic style but make sure to have a common thread to tie it all together whether it&#39;s through color or pattern. <br /><br />Great question!
