I'm back to reality after one of the loveliest and most fabulous weekends I've ever had! Over the weekend, my best friend (LWs) got married and it was just the best wedding ever. She was the most beautiful bride I have ever seen and it was honestly a magical evening/weekend. The happy couple left for their romantic Parisian honeymoon on Sunday and so to extend the weekend as much as possible, yesterday I had lunch with two of my closest girlfriends (A & Linds) and then went shopping in Georgetown.

After dropping off Steve's rental tuxedo shirt (from the wedding) before hitting up Georgetown shopping, A & I decided to pop into Dalton Pratt since it was just a few shops down from the tailor. If there was ever a store to indulge your fashion accessory, jewelry, and home decor fantasies, then this is it. The minute you walk in, you're welcomed by the sweetest little dog (besides Emma), and then once you've said your hellos to the little pooch, you're instantly presented with the decision of either looking at the jewelry in the display cases OR the handbags & clutches that adorn the walls of the store. While looking around, one of the ladies said that they have an upstairs as well and that we should definitely check it out. So right on up we went - that is where I instantly got giddy. They've got a delightful collection of mirrors, lamps, rugs, nightstands, artwork, and accessories that I just ate up. I've only seen these items online and so to see them in person was a real treat.

I promise that you will not be disappointed. Oh, and if you still need to find a Valentine's Day gift for your lady, head to this store! You'll definitely find something there for her.
