I gotta say that I really love House Beautiful. They provide me with so much information and are always showcasing the best interior designers in the world. And yes, that is where I learned of Ashley Whittaker. They say she is a "neo-traditionalist" which is right up my alley. You can see below that her designs stick to a traditional layout but her choices for colors, fabrics, and textures are quite fresh and modern.

I know, I know what you're thinking. You're probably thinking, didn't she say that her #1 Top Trend to achieve was the Eclectic look? Well, it most definitely is, but I have to think about my husband too when decorating the house and well let's just say he leans much more towards the traditional side. There's obviously NOTHING wrong with that but I do like a little something-something to my decor. And that's exactly what Ashley Whittaker does. She is definitely a designer I will look to for inspiration and hopefully one day one of my rooms can look like something she designed. How great would that be? One of these days...
