Tom Glass, Dream Home Builder

Thank you LWs for sending this to me earlier today! So, you're probably wondering what the heck I'm talking about. My good friend, Lauren, sent me this Washington Post article on Tom Glass, a Washington, DC builder. I didn't realize until a few minutes after I had read the article that it was the same builder who renovated our Adams Morgan apartment when we were living in DC a year ago.

The article was about how he had discovered an old dilapidated building and knew that he could turn it into his dream home. But before he could renovate it he had to disassemble it and move the pieces 150 miles north to Rappahannock County where he had bought property. Crazy, right? Well, the renovations turned out beautifully and I just had to share with you the photos of his house.

He really had a vision when he saw this run down structure.

Gorgeous!

Absolutely gorgeous.

I never wouldn't thought to paint bathroom cabinets but it's such a fresh and unexpected take on what you normally see. And I am definitely digging the individual mirrors over the double sink.

A fireplace in the master bedroom makes the room so much more cozier and romantic.
