Good morning! Sorry for being MIA these past couple of days. I took it upon myself to take a few days off from blogging just because it was my birthday. And honestly, I needed to refresh for a bit and get a few things organized in my head. A few big things are happening soon, actually one starts tomorrow and I am excited but sad all at the same time. Cora starts daycare tomorrow! I can't wait for her to make new friends and do all of the fun crafts and activities that the daycare offers, but at the same time I'm sad because I won't see her for two days out of the week.

It's funny, I've been anxiously awaiting for her to get into daycare (just part-time) so that I can dedicate more time to my Etsy shop and this blog, but now that it's finally here, I'm starting to feel that it's just a bit too soon. Crazy, huh? Something that I've wanted so badly is here and I'm whining about how sad it makes me feel. I'm sure I'll feel quite differently when I'm able to get more work done when she's in "school" (that's what we've been calling it to her so that she gets used to the term).

Anywho, let's lighten the mood, shall we? I recently went to Gap to check out their boyfriend jeans because Gaby shared that they were amazing. I completely trust her with fashion picks because she's one chic lady. So I went and tried on a bunch of cute things they had (loved the boyfriend jeans but didn't have my size), but instantly fell in love with their Marled Sweater in the Simply Blue color way. I'm usually quite picky when it comes to sweaters because I get really self-conscious about the way my arms look in them. Yes, I'm weird I know.

And that is why I love this sweater. It's extremely soft and comfortable and yet it's flattering too. I love that it's a little longer in the back, which is great for those days that I just want to lounge in black leggings (hides the booty). Even though it errs on the side of comfort, I wanted to show that you could absolutely dress it up with some heels and sparkly accessories to glam it up and take it to brunch with the girls or an impromptu date night. You'll be comfy and chic which is really the best combo, right?
