There are two things in this world that I truly dislike shopping for. The first is swimsuits and lingerie, which go hand in hand in my opinion. Not a big surprise, right? Or at least I'm hoping that others have issues with this, so that I'm not the only one. Don't get me wrong, I've gotten a bit better about it as I've gotten older. I play up what little strengths I have and downplay all that is bad.

But the other thing that I really dislike shopping for is sunglasses. Crazy, I know. I love looking at all of the different styles of sunglasses out there, but when it comes to actually trying them on, it's almost a bad as swimsuit/lingerie shopping. Let me explain. I've got a pretty wide face and little-to-no nose bridge, so it really narrows my options in terms of what will fit my face comfortably. And the area around my sinuses are extra sensitive, meaning I can't really wear anything too heavy or else I start getting headaches. Wow, I sound pretty pathetic here, huh? But sadly, it's the truth. Whenever I see sunglasses that I love, more often than not, they just never fit properly. When you add the fact that you normally have a salesperson helping you try on sunglasses, it's never good for your self-esteem when they also see your flaws too.
