Weekend Recap // The Farmer's Market, Pool Day, & a DIYMonday, July 14, 2014
Hi you guys! Hope you all had a fun weekend! Ours was pretty packed with a trip to the farmer's market on Saturday morning, squeezing in a quick DIY while Cora naps, and then cooling down at the pool later that day. Then yesterday we made some lattes and leisurely ate breakfast before heading to the mall to see Peppa Pig for Cora's sake. Although, it didn't turn out quite as we had imagined. She was really excited at the thought of seeing Peppa Pig, but when we got there, I think she was a little shocked at how big Peppa Pig was in "real life." We ended our trip at the mall with some shopping and funnily enough, I think she enjoyed that the most.
Then we headed to my parents' house to see my mom and my youngest brother to watch the World Cup final game and have dinner together. My mom totally spoiled us by whipping up a feast for us! It was most definitely the perfect way to end a really relaxing weekend. I hope yours was too!
Even though we didn't get that much produce, I just loved looking at it all. The colors and sheer volume look amazing.
Absolutely picked up some of these rays of sunshine.
I really wanted to bring one of these fig trees home...
We made our own little picnic to enjoy some of the baked goods that we got. Thanks Aunt Lauren & Uncle David for her #ootd!
Mine and hers at the pool.
I have been wanting to do this DIY for some time now. I picked up this vintage green magazine rack from the thrift store about a month ago and knew all it needed was a fresh coat of paint. I loved the idea of painting it a bright red and so...
Said feast by my loving mom.
