I won't lie. I normally don't buy skirts for Cora. I don't know what it is, but I've always had it in my mind that it would be impractical to get as compared to say shorts or a dress. Totally irrational I realize, so when I saw that GapKids had come out with this versatile chambray varsity skirt, I decided that Cora was going to try it out. I mean, it's only fitting that she tries out the denim skirt, especially since I wear them all the time. Well, I am so glad I got it for her! She clearly likes wearing it (check out the last photo) and I can see it being a great transitional piece for Summer and into Fall with some tights, boots, & sweater. For now, I think her gold loafers and tie-front shirt work perfectly for the warm weather. And that red patent leather cross body bag (a thrift store find!) was the perfect accent for this outfit.
