Isabella Oliver Balfour Maternity Dress / Stella McCartney Falabella Shaggy Deer Tote / Asos Gladiator Sandals / Prada 54mm Cat Eye Sunglasses / Julie Vos Lion Pendant with Stone

Last week we were blessed with some amazingly warm weather so I took full advantage and made sure to wear my new Isabella Oliver Balfour maternity dress along with my new gladiator sandals (they're under $40!!). It's been a looong winter around here and just having the temps in the upper 60s/low 70s was heavenly. It felt so good to have the warm sun against my skin and honestly, just to be outside without a coat on. Speaking of which, pardon the paleness of my legs and arms. I am in desperate need of some sun!

I haven't been one to wear any body-conscious items since my college days (weren't we all about wearing body conscious pieces back then?? Or maybe that was just me...), but because I've got this baby bump, it actually cancels out the risqué vibes of anything body-conscious. Don't get me wrong, you could definitely turn up the volume with this dress, but for some reason in my head, being pregnant and wearing something tight doesn't necessarily come across as being racy in a bad way. In fact, I think it celebrates the body and the miracle that's growing inside of you. Which is why I am loving this dress. It's beyond comfortable, so easy to wear (it's so soft!), and like I said before, you can dress it up or down.

With this outfit, I decided that gladiator sandals, a white bag, and some gold accessories were all it needed to dress it up just a tad. Perfect for a lunch date or going shopping with the girls I would say!
