Oookay, so I just realized that I'm wearing pretty much the exact same top as the model wearing the coat on Gap's site. Totally didn't even see that and have just noticed. I swear I wasn't copying. I wonder if that was a subconscious move. Anywho, the top I wore is from Navette's, a boutique & consignment shop here in Annapolis, and is what I literally wore the other day. The coat is so comfy and cozy, and the pale pink color is a great neutral. I'm loving how pale pinks are a neutral now, don't you? It's really nice to have another light color other than white during the winter months. Don't get me wrong, I love whites and creams, but sometimes it's nice to have another option. And at 40% off (use code CHEER), this coat is kind of an obvious addition to my winter wardrobe.
I'm always on the look out for stretchy skinny jeans, and the other day while I was Christmas shopping, I came across these H&M ones. I know, I realize I should be buying for other people (and I did!), but when you find the right jeans, you just kind of have to get them. They felt so smooth and soft, and ridiculously comfortable. My biggest pet peeve with jeans is that they'll start slipping off my butt if I squat down. You moms know what I'm talking about. With babies/kids, there's a lot of getting up and down from the floor, and so I need jeans that will stay on. I was pleasantly surprised that these jeans passed the squat test when I was trying them on, and at $35 they were an immediate purchase. I also snagged another similar pair which were also a steal at $20!
