I don't know if you guys know this, but the summers in Maryland are ridiculously hot. I mean, I'm talking hot and humid and just really, really HOT. Which is probably why I either live in shorts and tees or easy, breezy dresses during the summer months. And that is exactly why I immediately gravitated towards this Old Navy Linen Blend Cocoon Dress in this black and white tribal print. It's not tight, but not too loose that it doesn't give you some shape, and it has pockets! We shot this look downtown in the morning and it was already hot that day and I can tell I was staying cool in this breezy dress. I have a feeling this will be on heavy rotation this summer.

You could easily amp the look of this dress up for night time wear by switching out the gladiator sandals with these or these, along with a clutch. And definitely some statement bracelets or earrings. I'll be doing just that for the next date night!

Right now til midnight EST, it's just $18 from it's usual $35! I'm sure it'll go on sale again, so no big rush on getting it. But I highly recommend it and the best part is you can put it in the washer & dryer, major thumbs up on that.
