Bulletin Board: Life's a Beach

A mosquito net is a must, but along with functionality, it adds softness and that whisper of romance every bedroom needs.{Coastal Living}

It's that time of year again where I am wondering how in the world I am going to make it until the temperatures are an average of at least 70 degrees. Living in Maryland is great, but let me tell ya from Jan 2nd through, oh I'd say around May, is probably the toughest time to get through since there really isn't anything to look forward too and it is just so cold. And that's when I start thinking of the beach and how soon I can get to the hottest one.

Last summer we didn't even get to go to the beach (crazy since we live in Annapolis now) and we are now in complete beach withdrawal. Yes, there are plans to go to the beach this year (not exactly sure when) but I thought even looking at photos of beachy places would make me happy.

TGIF guys, enjoy!

In each of the bedrooms, Meg embellished simple white coverlets, shams, and bolster pillows with embroidered trim that lends a little graphic weight to the pieces by outlining their shapes.{Coastal Living}

Meg floated the leaves in glass for a streamlinedand inexpensivework of art over the sink.{Coastal Living}

Woven seagrass and rattan touches throughout add a rustic island flavor.{Coastal Living}

To keep mold and mildew at bay, use durable, even outdoor fabics for indoor rooms frequently exposed to salty, humid air.{Coastal Living}
Reminds me of SATC the movie when they go on Carrie's honeymoon spot.
