These clear shoe bins from West Elm are EXACTLY what I need. When we first moved into our house, I had bought some boxes from Ikea but they didn't really work out since they were too big for our closet and were not clear so I couldn't tell what was in them.* If I had to find a particular pair of shoes, the closet would look like a tornado went through it since I would have to open up all of the boxes and of course it would always be the very bottom boxes that would have the shoes that I was trying to get too.

I can't say that I've been hunting for shoe organizational products, but I just came across this one and I really feel compelled to purchase them. I don't know about you, but for some reason it looks like something Carrie Bradshaw would have in her closet to organize all her shoes. Well, her closet before we saw that fabulous closet Big had created for her in the SATC movie. Ahh, to have a closet like that, nothing could rain on my parade.


*I had the idea of taking Polaroids of each pair of shoes and taping the photos to the boxes, but the quest for a Polaroid camera never followed through.
