Hi guys! I am so sorry for being MIA for most of last week. Steve was out of town for 3 days so I was on my own with Cora along with a splitting migraine that didn't want to go away. Thankfully, Cora was an angel and the unwelcome migraine went away when Steve came home. But that didn't help with me getting any work done, so I've still got emails to respond to and a few little admin things I need to tackle. And, I'm sure you guys have seen over on Instagram that I'm reopening my Etsy shop!!! I've been trying to work on gathering my fabulous pieces for you guys so that's also been keeping me busy.

The week was a total wash, but the weekend was a different story. We were able to switch out our current kitchen hardware with new brushed brass pulls (you might've seen them on Instagram) and I picked up some new placemats and napkins to perk up our dining table. We have so many placemat and napkin sets that are missing a few pieces or have been damaged beyond repair, so I figured it was time to get some new ones. Plus, any reason to add some Spring-like colors into our interior space is a-okay with me. And right now, HomeGoods has such a great selection that I couldn't help but get the linen placemats along with the coral napkins.

After Steve came home from his trip, I was able to get some mommy time (i.e. retail therapy). I needed to return something to Old Navy and I knew they were having a huge Baby & Kids sale so it was a no-brainer to make that my first stop. Because we're going to the beach next month and Cora doesn't have any warm-weather clothes that fit her, this was the perfect time to stock up on some clothes that she can wear when we go to Florida without spending a fortune. You can see some of the goods below. I also picked up this hat and am sooo happy she likes it. I was worried she wouldn't take to it, but she happily walks around saying, "yee haw!" with it on because she thinks its a cowboy hat even though it looks nothing like one. I've seen really cute clothes at Gap and Zara so I might pick a few more things up for our trip for her, and I am on the lookout for a few bathing suits for her so if you see any, please send them my way!!

We are loving the new brushed brass pulls that we switched out with our old ones. It instantly gives the kitchen a new look and it was a relatively inexpensive way to change up the kitchen without doing any major renovations. Of course, the minute we put these on, we were thinking, maybe we should paint the cabinets…Buuut we're not! As someone on YouTube said, "ain't nobody got time for that!"

Cora and I ventured to the park to get some exercise and to take advantage of the upper 30 degree weather. Here, she's about to tell me that we are walking. She kept saying, "walking" over and over again because she was so excited to be at the park walking!

I was able to have some mommy time after Steve came back and so what do I do? Go shopping, of course! All of these tops were found at the clearance section of Nordstrom Rack and are all designer brands, such as Trina Turk, Tracy Reese, and Joie, some of my favorites.
