Guys, can you believe I'm already at 38 weeks?? Sometimes I can't believe it and yet I can. It's felt like a really long pregnancy for me but now that we're in the home stretch, I'm starting to feel like I've got a gazillion things to do with so little time. We just picked up a Craigslist find last night and need to repaint it before the baby gets here! And we decided last weekend that we are going to redecorate our entryway, including repainting it! Are we nuts or what? I'm actually headed to the paint store this afternoon to get the paint we need for the entryway. The sooner we get it done, the better I will feel about Baby #2's arrival.
With the countdown to my due date, the hubby and I have been trying to squeeze in as much time as possible. It's been a bit difficult since we've both been so busy, but we've been able to have our usual lunch dates and happy hour dates these past couple of weeks. What we haven't done in a while is go on a date night. With my belly getting bigger and bigger, the evenings have been a little harder for me since that's when I'm ready to just lounge on the couch and relax. This past weekend, Cora went to my parents' house for a sleepover so Steve and I could get her big girl room ready. We were planning on going out for dinner afterwards, but in the end it just didn't happen. We were both exhausted after cleaning out and reorganizing Cora's new room that the thought of getting all gussied up and going out was just too much. All we wanted to do was have Indian takeout and onDemand a movie, and that's exactly what we did. BUT, if we had gone out, this LBD along with those Dolce Vita Ocana Sandals would definitely have been my #ootn for our date.
I'm seriously obsessed with these sandals! They're surprisingly comfortable (coming from this preggo lady, you gotta believe me!) and ridiculously affordable at $50! And to have added that Vintage Gold Cuff to my shop was one of the hardest things ever because I really want to keep it for myself.
This Vintage Gold Cuff is in the shop now! Get it while you can!
